Crystals
The simple presence of a crystal can bring clam and serenity. Different crystals help with different things, this can be determined by its color and the energy the stone emits. When you have a crystal you are drawn to you can carry with you in your pocket, bra or wear it as jewelry when you are on the move.
Fluorite: Absorbs and neutralizes negativity. Will help bring your vibe back into balance.
Obsidian: This shiny black stone sucks off negativity and shields you against it, works as a bad vibe vacuum.
Smokey Quartz: This stone will bring you back down to earth. It’s a cleansing and grounding stone that removes negative energy. Also helps you to keep a clear mind.
2. Mediate
Every minute counts! If you have a minute take three deep breathes. If you have 5 - 10 minutes and feel like you are drained and need a moment to reset yourself run to your car, closest bathroom or go for a walk. Allowing your body time to regroup gives your body a chance to reset your body’s major systems a reset. Especially when you can be cluttered with relatives, stressors and burdens.
Just allow your thoughts, emotions and breath just be. If you find yourself getting distracting and mind wandering bring your attention back to the here and now moment. Let your breathe come in your nose and out your mouth. Relaxing you neck and shoulders. Take a few minutes to be a neural state of neutral nothing.
3. Grounding
The human body is just a big piece of electrical equipment. We are bio energetic humans and just like an electrical objects require grounding to prevent surges or burn outs so do we.
How to ground. Stand on a patch of grass, dirt, beach or wherever is accessible and feels good. Close your eyes and breathe slowly for about 5 minutes.
4. Thymus Tapping
Your thymus gland lies in the center of your chest right under your chest bone. It is the master gland of your immune system. Responsible for fighting off inflammation and disease. Negative thinking has been found to weaken your thymus gland.
In order to strengthen your thymus gland and raise its energy you can tap on it. What this looks like taking your fingers on one hand besides your thumb and gently tapping on your chest above where your thymus gland is found. This can be done by also saying positive affirmations or mantras. This is my go to way to protect my energy when out and about because I can be done in your car or a bathroom stall.
5. Finger Circles
I’m not sure what this is actually called.but it has been a huge help! It instantly calms me, helps me make decisions, protects my energy in high stress environments.
I take my thumb and create small circles on the rest of my finger pads on the same hand. This is something you can do under the table at dinner, casually while sitting on the couch.
6. Cut the Cord Literally
Not all relationships are created equal. Unhealthy relationships can lead to unhealthy cords of attachment. This attachments are connected to us energetically through our chakras. They can leave you feeling rotten.
How to get rid of an energetic cord of attachment is to karate chop your hands back and forth in front of your stomach in a repetitive motion with your palms facing you.
7. Create a Bubble Around You
Going into a stressful or overwhelming obligation or outing can cause a lot of fear or anxiety and leave you feeling drained. It is very easy to become defensive and create “a wall” that way you do not get your energy drained.
Instead of creating a wall as protection. I like to imagine a bubble around me. It is soluble enough that energy can flow in and out but still creates a barrier that blocks unwanted things draining my energy.
8. Shower/Bath
After time with out and about and being present and showing up make sure to clean you energy and body. Taking a bath is a great way to cleanse your body. You can also add in some oils.
Living in an RV a bathtub did not come with it. There is still a way to make your shower a spiritual experience. I stand under the shower head and have the water go down my whole body. As this is happening I imagine the water taking any bad vibes and energy with it as it goes down the drain. This also allows me to do a quick body scan to notice how my body feels and see if I am holding tension anywhere.
